If you have been noticing fluted accents everywhere, you are not alone. Fluting (“a groove or set of grooves forming a surface decoration.”- Oxford Languages) has become a hot trend in the design world and we are going to show you how to incorporate it into your own home!

We have gathered a few of our favorite furniture pieces with fluted detailing below:

Lighting, glassware, and decorative accessories are great ways to incorporate smaller fluted details throughout your space.

How stunning are these "Eve Coupe Cocktail Glasses" from CB2? This glassware would be the perfect way to dress up your bar/ holiday table, thanks to their fluted tops.

Aptly named the “Ruffle Bowl,” this decorative bowl from Arhaus is the perfect way to incorporate the texture of fluting into a room.

The fluting on the shade of the “Flores Floor Lamp with Fluted Shade” from Crate & Barrel gives character to an otherwise all white lamp shade.

The bright white glaze on the “Vix Modern Fluted Vase” from CB2 beautifully displays flowers or stands alone as a decorative object. The shape of this vase is only accentuated by light and shadow.

Perfect for the minimalist, the “Hanno Fluted Salt & Pepper Mill Grinder Set” from Crate & Barrel has a subtle amount of fluting that serves a functional purpose!

Adding fluted details, like we did with the kitchen renovation project below, can add an additional layer of character to cabinetry.

We tied the space together by specifying a band of fluted oak on the range hood, matching the island panels.

A classic natural marble product, the “Waves Salazar Marble Tile” from Tilebar has a stunning small-scale fluted pattern that would be the perfect addition to any renovation project!
