The Main Lounge & Rock-and-Roll Hub
For this basement renovation, we took an entirely unfinished lower level and transformed it into a moody, high-end destination designed for hosting, music, and relaxation. The entertainment lounge strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated comfort and a bold, rock-and-roll edge.

Across the room, rich, custom wood paneling and slatted cladding perfectly frame a seamless media and TV wall with a sleek floating console. For conversation and warmth, a pair of channeled terracotta velvet armchairs anchor a secondary seating area centered around a striking, deeply veined black marble fireplace, beautifully contrasted against a softly curved architectural wall of white vertical tile.

The Bespoke Wet Bar
The ultimate hosting hub, this custom wet bar is a masterclass in texture and material play. Framed by warm, flat-panel wood cabinetry, the bar features a hand-selected, deeply veined dark quartz slab utilized for both the countertops and the backsplash. Above the floating shelf, a backdrop of matte black micro-mosaic kit-kat tiles adds subtle texture, illuminated by contemporary spherical sconces and a statement multi-globe chandelier. It’s a moody, luxurious corner fully equipped and ready for a lifetime of hosting.

The Home Fitness Studio
Viewed through a beautiful, clean-lined wood-cased opening, the custom home gym proves that a fitness space can be just as stylish as the rest of the home. Ditching the typical dark basement gym feel, this bright studio features an energizing, neutral geometric wallpaper, high-performance plaid flooring, and a pair of elegant, gold-framed arched mirrors that expand the space while maximizing motivation.

The Guest Bath
To ensure the lower level lacked no luxury, we designed a full guest bathroom that feels like a retreat within a high-end boutique hotel. Breaking up the moody neutrals of the main lounge, a striking accent wall of vertically stacked, soft teal ceramic tile introduces a fresh, coastal-modern pop of color.

A custom floating white oak vanity with warm graining and sleek bronze pulls adds a touch of organic warmth, topped with a crisp white integrated sink. The design is beautifully tied together with a large, minimalist round mirror that reflects the room's sculptural brass pendant lighting and elegant fixtures, creating a bright, refreshing, and entirely elevated space for guests.
