Kimberly Boomer, Vice President of Design, has won a PEAK Achievement Award in the category of Best Design $50K-$100K from the York Builders Association (YBA) at the awards banquet on Thursday, May 9.

The award is part of the PEAK Achievement Awards, present annually by the YBA. The PEAK Achievement Awards recognize excellence in all aspects of the building industry, from building and remodeling, to community service, outdoor projects, and design.

The award-winning project was a recent kitchen and family room renovation that included light construction and modernization of the space. Fit and Finish Design, a sister company to Paul S. Collins General Contractor, celebrates it’s first anniversary this month. “This is an incredible way to celebrate our first year in business,” said Kimberly Boomer, Vice President of Design. “We have worked very hard for our clients during this first year to ensure they’re getting top quality design regardless of the size of the project.”

“Qualified industry experts from across the state judged the PEAK Achievement Award projects, so the winners represent the very best projects voted on by an audience of their peers,” said Laurie Lourie, Executive Vice President for the York Builders Association. “We’re incredibly proud that these businesses are part of the York Builders Association. They set the standard for quality craftsmanship, value, innovation and in this case, client satisfaction is also one of the judging criteria.”

Boomer earned her Associate Degree in Interior Design from the now-closed Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts and holds a certification from the National Council for the Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and is an accredited professional with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
